stitch fix {number two}

I decided to get another stitch fix box for my birthday.  I had fun with the first box back in July and wanted to give it another try.

If you have never heard about it Stitch Fix let me give you the run down.  Stitch Fix is a personal styling company.  You fill out a styling profile, your size, your shape, etc.  It is really easy and the more detailed the better your fixes.  Then you schedule when you want your Fix.  You can sign up for a specific date or you can choose to get a Fix every couple weeks, monthly, or every other month.  They will then send you five items (clothing and accessories) and whatever you don't like you return in a prepaid mailing bag.  You have three business days to decide what you want to keep.  The cost is $20 per fix, however this money goes towards any item you keep (with no extra shipping costs).  Also if you love all five items you get a 25% discount to keep them all!

First up was the Monet Chevron Print Raglan Sleeve Knit Shirt by Mystree.  This was the first item I tried on and I loved it.  I wanted to keep this one right away.  It is my style and it fit well.  The only downfall to this shirt is that it is knit and it would catch on everything.  Also the bottom wasn't sewn at all and I could just picture the entire thing unraveling.

The pants from the photo were my number two fix item.  They are Carole Distressed Skinny Jean's by Just Black.  In my notes from my stylist she stated that the jeans had "some distressing at the knee which is so on trend right now".  I think her definition of "some distressing" and mine are completely different, these were holy jeans - I mean really.  I loved the fit and the color but there was no way I was going to pay $78 for jeans that almost turned to shorts when I tried them on.

Fix number three was this Priya Diamond Printed Knit-back Tank by Pomelo. I really love this shirt, it fits great and it is really cute.

The fourth item up was this cute Lexis Abstract Print Henley Tank Top by Papermoon.  I liked this shirt a lot and so did Aaron.

Then there was this.  This is a Steph Sleeveless Belted Floral Dress by Moon Collection.  I think this was a wild card.  It was horrible.  The fit was so wrong.  This went back in the bag immediately because no. just no.

Although I liked all three tops they sent me I decided to keep one, the Diamond Printed Knit-Back Tank.  It will brighten up my wardrobe a bit and be perfect for this summer!

Overall this was a great fix and I am excited to get another box in a couple of months.  So did I make the right pick?  How about you have you tried Stitch Fix?  Do you want to?  If you sign up and try it out let me know.  I would love to see your first fix!

*I was not paid by Stitch Fix for this post, all opinions are my own.  However Stitch fix has a sweet rewards program and I did use my affiliate links throughout this blog.
