The Noonday Spring 2014 blog train continues. To view yesterdays post and giveaway go to Cynthia's blog here.
I talk about our artisans all the time and they have become like family around here. With that said, being a Noonday husband has got to be hard. Aaron, my husband, probably wonders at times if I can think about anything else. The answer is rarely. I quiz my kids on where products are made and where that country can be found on a map. In all honesty they are getting really good at remembering. All this to say Noonday is a common name in our house and my family hears about it quite a bit. I am sure other ambassador families are similar, hearing the stories time after time.
Aaron has supported this business from the beginning. He knows how important it is for me to get to share Noonday to those in our community. He understands the why in what I do. He supports me so that I can share and support our artisans. He knows that with each sale there is a family across the world being directly impacted.
With that said one of my favorite Noonday experiences thus far has been bringing Aaron to the artisan shop in Ethiopia. I had already met them a couple months prior and it was an amazing experience. However, bringing my biggest Noonday supporter to meet the women who make our products was an out of this world experience. Getting to show Aaron the faces behind our beautiful pieces, I simply stood in awe soaking in each precious second. I so often think about them and see their faces. To us these women are more then artisans, they represent our boys birth mothers. To us they are family.
Aaron, Thank you. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for supporting this business, because it matters. The fact that you are my number one fan means a lot. I am so glad that you got to meet our artisans. Thank you that you let me just stand back and soak in that time. Thank you for encouraging me to continue. Thank you for listening to the stories over and over.
And to all the Noonday families out there, your support is not unnoticed! Husbands being solo parents when your wife is sharing about our artisans, THANK YOU! Kids helping moms carry accessories to the car for yet another trunk show, THANK YOU! To the moms, sisters, cousins, close friends who buy new items with each line supporting our ambassadors and artisans, THANK YOU! The support of our families is HUGE, without you all we could not share our artisans stories so I want to thank you for each time you have had our backs.
Now for a giveaway, I am giving away $25 for one lucky reader. With it you will get to use it towards whatever your heart desires. Check out all the amazing items here. Good luck!
