*This month if you spend $50.00 or more (before shipping) ~ you will receive a free gift!

**Note: This month the shop will be closing on December 14th at midnight due to our families move, please get all Christmas orders in by then!

"The process of adoption is a marathon, not a sprint.  God really does know what he is doing and His ways are greater than ours.  Even when things aren't going fast enough  how planned, etc....in the end it IS the way HE planned it all along.  We have seen this proven in our 3 prior adoptions and are watching it happen in this one as well." ~Brooke Breeze

When did your family start the adoption process?
Hmm....that's a bit complicated.  We officially started the process in January 2012.  Our hearts were taken hostage by this little one the moment we laid eyes on him in November 2011.  However, God planted the seed for this adoption in Brooke's heart nearly 3 years ago through a very vivid dream that she had.  (You can read more about that on our blog!)

Where are you in the process?
We are anxiously waiting for a court date from the Ghanaian government.  When this has been set, then we can take our first of two trips for the adoption.

Where are you adopting from?
Ghana

Why did you chose Ghana?
We didn't.....that's where Isaiah happens to live.  We're just following God's lead.  Brooke felt sure that the child in her dream was from Africa, but had no idea what country.  God has made it very clear that this particular child is the child from her dream and he happens to be in Ghana.  However, we are learning all that we can about Ghanaian history and culture and we are excited to continue to share this rich native heritage with our son once he is home.

What age & gender is the child you are adopting?
7 year old boy.

What other fundraisers have you done or are you doing?
Puzzle Piece sponsorship, individual donors, Running for Home 5K

What is your blog?
Where do you live?
Walton, KY

What are some of your families favorite activities?
Playing games, being silly together, church activities, being outside.

Favorite foods?
Chocolate

Favorite Color?
Purple (Brooke) & Black (Jeff)

Favorite Place to Visit?
Gulf Shores, Alabama as a family.  Hawaii just Brooke & Jeff.

Words of wisdom getting you through the adoption?
The process of adoption is a marathon, not a sprint.  God really does know what he is doing and His ways are greater than ours.  Even when things aren't going fast enough  how planned, etc....in the end it IS the way HE planned it all along.  We have seen this proven in our 3 prior adoptions and are watching it happen in this one as well.

Any other thoughts on the adoption?
My husband and I are very involved in adoption and orphan care advocacy.  We teach Considering Adoption classes at our church multiple times a year to encourage others to build their families through adoption.  We have also traveled to Swaziland, Africa on a mission trip to visit an orphan care ministry.  As a result, Brooke is a sponsorship co-coordinator for an orphan care-point that cares for and ministers to 135 orphans and vulnerable children.  We are always striving to get other Christians involved in living out James 1:27.

Through *December 45% of Hannah James profits will go to help the Breeze's adoption to help bring their son Isaiah home.
As always, thank you for the support!
*Shop closes December 15th because of our family move - it will re-open again in January.
