Project Hopeful

walking with my sister

You have heard of me talk about Project Hopeful before.  If not hear me now.  They are AWESOME.  Their mission is to educate, encourage, and enable families and individuals to advocate for and adopt children with HIV/AIDS as well as other children who are overlooked by potential adoptive parents due to their age, sibling group, and other health concerns.

Their mission is huge.  One of my favorite parts of their mission is their sisterhood program.  The first time we went to Ethiopia we got to meet our precious sister - and words cannot even describe the greatness this program is providing for her.  (We also saw her our second trip).  They are helping her so that her family can stay connected.  They are enabling families to stay together.  They are preventing more children from becoming orphans.  In terms of helping the orphan crisis - programs like this are HUGE.  People THAT IS WHERE IT IS AT.

Right now Project Hopeful is in the running to win $50,000 from Cultivate Wines.  That is a HUGE chunk of cash that could help more families be educated.  Help more orphans find forever homes.  Help more families stay connected and find HOPE.  Help more families fund-raise to bring their babes home. This can help them in so many different ways, I can't even think to list them all.

So here is what I am asking of YOU.  They need our votes.  And we have a month.  I am asking you to share on Facebook, share on twitter, share on your blog, share by mass email, word of mouth.  JUST SHARE.

Thank you for sharing, voting, and spreading the truth!
